In this short clip, Jean Rainville, President and CEO of Fokus mining discusses the 2023 drill results and the 3rd round of drilling at Galloway in the Morris zone.
The Galloway Gold Project
The Galloway Gold Project covers an area of approximately 2,865.54 hectares and is situated approximately 30 kilometers west of the mining town of Rouyn-Noranda. The project is positioned within a region known for its prolific gold mining operations, making it a highly prospective area for gold exploration and development. The southern and eastern parts of the property lie immediately along and are partially transected by the highway. The central part of the property can be accessed via the paved Chemin des Pourvoiries Road, whereas the Chemin du Mont-Kanasuta road leads to the western part. The latter is paved as far as the Kanasuta Ski Centre but continues as a gravel road beyond that. While this road is not maintained, it is in good standing.
About Fokus Mining
Fokus Mining Corporation concentrates its effort on the Galloway project, more precisely on the “Golden Triangle”. This project is located along the Cadillac-Larder Lake Fault, where you can find numerous mines and deposits from the mining camps of Kirkland Lake, Noranda, Cadillac, Malartic and Val-d’Or.
The Galloway project consists of three mining concessions and 95 claims covering a total area of 2,668 hectares. The property is the result of the amalgamation of many claims blocks along a 3-km-wide corridor of gold bearing structures, over a total length of 10 km along the Larder-Lake-Cadillac Break (LLCB).
