Moosehead North and Moosehead South Claim Groups
The Moosehead Gold District Project, consisting of the Moosehead
North and Moosehead South claim groups, is located within a
northeast-trending belt of Silurian volcanic, volcaniclastic and
sediment rocks. The project has considerable coverage of the large
regional fault structure located in the area. The Project consists of
228 claim units representing exclusive exploration rights to
approximately 5,700 hectares.
The Project tenures are adjacent to and on trend with the mineral
licence hosting Sokoman Iron Corp.’s recently announced discovery hole –
with an assay result of 44.96 grams per tonne over 11.90 metres by way
of drill hole MH-18-01 from 109 metres to 120.90 metres. True thickness
is believed to be 80 per cent of core length.
A Phase 1 Exploration Program on the Moosehead Properties will include a first pass prospecting program to verify known showings (Sugar Mountain) and attempt to identify additional showings of interest.
